Hans Soni Offia is the senior partner of the Firm and heads the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Property & Real Estate practice groups. He had a far-ranging practice area expertise which includes: commercial litigation, land litigation, tax, and alternative dispute resolution.
Offia applies his in-depth legal expertise, practice experience and commercial insights to very complex legal, regulatory and commercial issues in litigation and deal transactions, especially with the Firm’s corporate clients. He has achieved admirable results for the clients he handles their Briefs.
Furthermore, as a way of giving back to the community, Mr. Offia is passionate about Pro Bono work and extends his legal services free of charge to indigent inmates in Federal Correctional Facilities who cannot afford his legal representation. He further represents the interests of indigent women who are victims of gender-based and domestic violence at the hands of their partners or husbands and works with Human Rights Organizations both locally and internationally to ensure the protection of the rights of women and children. He has represented clients on Petitions to the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions, Abuja in respect of the extra-judicial killing of innocent Nigerian citizens by members of the Nigerian Police Force, Ebonyi State Command. He was also involved for clients, pro bono, at the Ebonyi State ENDSARS Judicial Panel of Enquiry after the #ENDSARS protests of 2020 which made international headlines in October, 2020.
